What you'll do
Docusign is seeking a Communications Designer to create visual assets to help tell Docusign's story to myriad audiences including but not limited to media, employees, investors, and social audiences.
You'll be responsible for creating visual assets to be used in Docusign's communications efforts across social media, including LinkedIn and Instagram, internal employee communications including town hall presentations, Docusign editorial channels including Docusign's blog and content marketing efforts, and assets for use in media (online, TV, etc.). Your work will be a strategic asset for helping Docusign meet its communications goals in the company's transformation to an Intelligent Agreement Management company.
A bit about who you are: You are intimately knowledgeable and familiar with media, including social media best practices. You'll need to be able to understand business goals, digest information to support those goals, and distill the concepts into visual assets that enhance and tell the story. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Group Creative Director, Brand and Marketing.
Responsibility
Design engaging visual assets including social media graphics (animations, and videos tailored for different platforms and media types), internal and external presentation materials, and press assets
Develop standards for native social content that should be brand-adjacent or brand-light
Collaborate with communications teams to translate messaging into compelling visuals
Optimize assets for various formats (e.g., feed posts, stories, ads, carousels, reels)
Build out story-telling narratives through visual design
Implement designs that are on-brand and take creative direction and guidance well
Stay updated on design trends and platform updates to ensure fresh and relevant creative
Create Canva templates and design systems for consistent brand presence across social channels
Develop animations and motion where needed
Maintain an organized library of assets for easy access and reuse
Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in social media design (e.g., contrast, captions)
Support live event coverage with real-time graphics, overlays, and social assets
Possess excellent copywriting, proofreading skills to create error-free work as much as possible
Craft end-to-end presentations utilizing our core templates as a base, and designing bespoke slides when needed, ultimately growing template libraries
Be a self-starter and quick learner who takes initiative
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
5+ years of experience in social media design, digital marketing, or a related field
Experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma, as well as Google Slides and Powerpoint
Experience with motion graphics and short-form video editing for social content
Preferred
Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.) and their design best practices
High-level of comfort and experience with Canva
Ability to analyze performance data and iterate on creative based on engagement insights
Comfortable working with others
Comfortable drafting some copy such as headlines
Comfortable presenting your design work
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $122,300.00 - $190,650.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
