Site based role in Photo/Immersive Lab

Overview:

We are seeking an upbeat editor with motion graphics capabilities to work in the photo lab. The ideal candidate should bring a strong visual style and a robust understanding of video editing, 2D/3D animation, design principles, and video format standards! This role requires expertise in crafting motion graphics and visual storytelling for multi-platform video content.

The Role Youll Play:

Convert video between various formats for delivery across digital platforms, including:

  • Craft and animate sophisticated motion graphics sequences using Adobe After Effects including kinetic typography, animated infographics, 2.5D/3D elements, and visual effects
  • Build polished visual assets such as transitions, lower thirds, animated logos, data visualizations, and explainer sequences
  • Edit and tailor video content specifically for social media platforms, optimizing for format, duration, engagement, and platform-specific standard processes
  • Improve storytelling through motion language, timing, and compositional flow
  • Integrate motion graphics seamlessly into live-action and animated content
  • Prepare video content optimized for web, social media, email campaigns, and digital marketing
  • Ensure logical sequencing and a visually cohesive final product
  • Collaborate with content and brand teams to ensure design and messaging consistency
  • Contribute to live video production, footage bring together, and post-production support
  • Run HD and 4K footage with attention to color grading and sound design
  • Record and edit audio for voiceover as needed
  • Maintain organized project files, follow standard methodologies, and support cross-team video
Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma required, Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 3 years video, editing, or production experience
  • Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition experience. Cinema 4D or other 3D tools a plus
  • Strong portfolio showcasing animation work
  • Professional experience with creative studios or ad agencies with a focus on promotional or commercial content
  • Deep understanding of motion principles including timing, easing, and spatial design
  • Familiarity with color correction, keying, tracking, compositing, and VFX workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strong visual storytelling skills, with knowledge of composition, lighting, camera movement, and editing rhythms
  • Proactive, diligent, and comfortable incorporating feedback into creative revisions
