This job location is in Camdenton, Missouri, in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks.

We are seeking an Experienced Interior Designer with an Interior Design Degree, and at least 3 years in the furniture sales field, to become a part of our team! You will be working alongside two ASID Designers, each having over 40 years of experience. Located in a large lake resort area with endless client opportunities. Harris Home Interiors has designed, installed and serviced homes from coast to coast under owners Tim and published ASID Designer Dorinda L. King since 1990, but Harris has been in operation since 1947. We have a 16,000 sq. ft. showroom, design studio, in-house work room, with a great delivery and installation crew. We're a small business that accomplishes great things. HHI offers a base pay, plus bonuses for working hard determines max pay, 5 paid personal/sick days, and one-week paid vacation plus paid holidays per year. (Always closed 2 days before Christmas through Jan. 2nd, paid)

Responsibilities:

Developing your own client baseHelping to merchandise furniture showrooms for fresh looking roomscapes.Plan, design, and furnish the interiors of primarily residential homes & condos, with a few commercial spaces.Select and specify all interiors goods: tile, carpet, wallcovering, paint, furniture, lighting, bedding, and accessories.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in interior design and furnishingsFamiliarity with design software such as AutoCAD drawing and Design Manager.Detail-orientedAbility to make and read scale drawings, architectural plans and furniture layouts.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsCompany DescriptionHarris Home Interiors has been in operation since 1947.
