What you'll do As a Product Designer, you will design elegant, customer-focused web and/or mobile applications for millions of Docusign users around the globe. You will be responsible for the user interface, its architecture, interaction, user research and visual design across platforms. You are a dedicated, passionate, efficient designer with strong analytic skills and an inventive storyteller. You collaborate with colleagues with ease and bring cross-functional teams together around a common vision. You welcome feedback from a wide variety of collaborators and research ideas, and tap your intuition to make the right decision in the absence of definitive facts. You adeptly balance business needs with simple, engaging, user-centered solutions. You are adept at working in an Agile/Scrum product development environment that is cross-functional and highly collaborative. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to a Product Design Manager. Responsibility Champion design, pushing yourself to explore big ideas before narrowing in on feasible, inventive solutions that sweat the small details Partner with Product Management, Engineering, User Research and tech writers to define multiple features that impact the whole product, ultimately helping to define product direction, with guidance from more senior designers Own design execution and measure ongoing improvements Produce deliverables for every stage of the design process - storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect visual assets for web and mobile Apply and contribute new patterns to Docusign's design system to maintain scalable design across our product ecosystem Leverage all data points like analytics and research to inform your work but rely on your intuition to fill in the gaps Contribute to a creative, supportive culture for the entire Product Experience team Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience designing consumer, enterprise and mobile user experiences for a large-scale web service Specialization in interaction design, visual design and design thinking, with experience in prototyping and user research Experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud Portfolio of work inspired by user research demonstrating product design strategy, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, articulation of design rationale, strong communication and storytelling skills Preferred Creative problem solver and effective communicator who clearly articulates design decisions and tells compelling stories that inspire action Belief that designers have a responsibility for what we put into the world and you care deeply about shipping work that reflects well on your team and your company's brand Curious and open-minded with a growth mindset Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
